Andrew Hunt of Marlow Capital recently participated as one of the panel speakers at the Private Equity International - Africa Forum, held on the 18th and 19th of June 2009 in London’s West End.


The conference was well attended and the topic of the Panel Discussion was “Fundraising – Seizing the Opportunity”. A lively debate was held on the impact of the current financial crisis on the fundraising environment and Andrew introduced to the audience Marlow Capital’s co-investment fund raising model with keys take-aways from the Panel Discussion being



  • Funding remains open for the right opportunities

  • LP’s are more selective in there funding and will take longer to get to financial close

  • The co-investment model is gaining transaction with investors as an alternative to the standard 10 year locked in fund
