Marlow Capital’s Andrew Hunt led a panel discussion at the 2011 Super Return Emerging Market Conference, held on the 27th - 30th of June 2011 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The topic of the Panel Discussion was “Assessing Growth in the Most Sophisticated and Largest African Economy Which is Increasingly Becoming The Gateway to the Rest of Africa”. The points included:

• South Africa is still the largest and deepest market for Private Equity in Africa

• There are good opportunities to invest in South African Private Equity

• South Africa is truly a gateway to the rest of Africa

Many South African portfolio companies are a good avenue to capture the growth available from the rest of Africa
